Please Welcome Our New Board Chair

We’re glad to introduce Andre Sampson as the new chair of our board.  As a former GAL volunteer, Andre steps into this role with a clear understanding of what CGF is here to do and a deep commitment to the children and young people we serve across DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties.

A good board chair does more than run a meeting.  They keep us focused on the children, ask the questions that need to be asked, and make sure the people doing the work are equipped.  Andre takes all of that seriously, and he brings the kind of steady, thoughtful leadership needed to maintain harmony and steady progress behind the scenes.
