2025 Kiwanis Lawn Party for area foster children

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the extraordinary community support shown at the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key’s Lawn Party on December 6, 2025. After returning from a year’s hiatus following the devastating hurricanes, this beloved event, organized 100% by volunteers, reminded us of the incredible generosity and compassion that define our Sarasota community.

Over 800 attendees gathered at Ken Thompson Park to enjoy samplings from more than 30 outstanding local restaurants, fine wines, craft beer, live music, and the excitement of our 50/50 raffle—all while supporting children who need us most. The enthusiastic participation of generous sponsors, led by The Resort at Longboat Key Club as the Diamond Presenting Sponsor, along with the dedication of the restaurant partners and volunteers, made this event truly special.

The funds raised through this year’s Lawn Party will directly impact the lives of foster children across Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties by providing critical academic support and enrichment opportunities. Every ticket purchased, every raffle entry, and every sponsorship dollar make a real difference in a foster child’s educational journey. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with these children and investing in their futures.
