Normalcy Bill eliminates many of the restrictions that keep Florida’s foster children from participating in normal activities, such as a field trip, sleepover, sporting event, vacation or even a trip to the beach.

Independent Living Act gives young adults in Florida’s custody the option of remaining until age 21–three years longer than in current law–to reduce their chances of ending up homeless, jobless or in jail. CGF will need to raise more funds to cover the teens’ care.
