Our luncheon theme is “Helping Our Kids Soar.” Children who have lost the comfort of parental support face many challenges and have needs that cannot be met through state funding. As they spend precious years of their childhood in foster or state care, they miss out on normal activities such as spending time with their siblings and participating in school events. And when sheltered under emergency circumstances, they often lack basic necessities such as a bed or clean clothing. This is why we come together every year – to help them soar above the limitations that come from being a ward of the state. Your generous support enables us to provide normalcy and enrichment to the 1,200+ children we serve annually while they wait for the courts to resolve the issues that brought them into foster care.
