Andre was born in Castries, St. Lucia. He grew up and spent most of his life in the Philadelphia area and moved to Bradenton full-time in 2016. He and his wife have three children and their dog, Charli. He enjoys reading, traveling, sports, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Andre spent 37 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. He retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC) as the Director of Business Operations, leading multiple organizations that performed various financial and business operations functions. Andre’s volunteer activities started in college, where he worked with youth in the Hampton, VA, area while attending Hampton University, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting. Andre served on the boards of several non-profits, including Operation Understanding, where they selected African American and Jewish 11th-grade students to travel to Israel and Africa to learn about their heritage and then perform workshops at schools, churches, and synagogues. Andre is the HOA president of a 60-unit condominium association located in Bradenton, in addition to serving as a Guardian ad Litem.

For Andre, being a GAL is both a rewarding and humbling experience. He believes fully in their program mission of supporting abused, abandoned, and neglected youth who have been displaced. We all have a responsibility to give our time and talents to the less fortunate, and Andre believes being a GAL while serving on the Children’s Guardian Fund board is his opportunity to do so.
