Cynthia Craig is a licensed attorney of the State of New Jersey. She moved to our area in 2009, after a long career handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She remains Of Counsel to the firm of Blume, Forte, Fried, Zerres and Molinari in Chatham, New Jersey. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in two and a half years, graduating magna cum laude, and then went to law school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., from which she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1979. She is the co-author of a legal treatise on New Jersey automobile insurance law, which has been cited as authoritative in more than 100 published opinions of the New Jersey state and federal courts.

As part of her legal work in New Jersey, she was frequently appointed by the court to serve as Guardian Ad Litem in cases where a family with dependent children had suffered a death or an injury due to the negligence of another.  Her task in those cases was to analyze the needs of the family members and recommend a fair distribution of the verdict/settlement proceeds to the court. It was her favorite part of practicing law. When she moved to Florida, she saw an advertisement recruiting Guardians Ad Litem for the GAL program. She became a GAL in 2010, and remains dedicated to helping children who have been removed from their families, especially babies and very small children with special needs.
