Barbara Dittmann retired in 2008 as the Executive Director for the State Attorney’s Office, 12th Judicial Circuit. She started working at the State Attorney’s Office in 1977 and held various positions. Prior to moving to Florida, Barbara worked for the municipality of the Town of Southold, Southold, Long Island, NY. She worked in various departments and at the time of moving to Florida was a Judicial Assistant to the one of the Town Justices.
Shortly after her retirement, Barbara became a certified Guardian ad Litem volunteer. In addition to advocating for dependent children, Barbara is a member of the Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Advisory Committee.
Barbara has two children and five grandchildren.
